HGL Systems has designed a portable PC-based tape storage system for use with in-the-field data acquisition. The system features an internal tape drive and a complete mini-iTX-based PC, enclosed in a sturdy steel chassis. 

HGL Systems has designed a completely new conduction-cooled chassis for a PC-based acquisition system. The new chassis features greatly enhanced rigidity, protecting the internal components better than before. As a result, the system has become better suited for flight testing.

HGL has used its Computer-Aided Design skills to design and manufacture the external chassis and all internal fixtures and fittings for a PC-based portable instrumentation recorder. The timescale for the project, from conception through to customer demonstrations at trade shows, was less than four months.
